Strong Customer Authentication

Impacting over 30 million Lloyds Banking Groups customers. Strong Customer Authentication is designed to verify that an online customer is who they say they are.

In the context of PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) means that a customer must authorise their payment transactions using two out of the three independent authentication factors.

The move is intended to prevent fraudulent payment transactions, stopping millions of pounds worth of fraud every year.

My challenge was to make this a seamless as possible experience for Lloyds Banking Group customers.
